OutStanding!

Grace stands with the help of the coffee table.  Changes seem to be happening so fast; it is unbelievable!

Dada

Grace has been babbling up a storm!  Every time I get out my video camera she seems to clam up, but I did catch this!  Is she saying Dada?  We've been working hard on Daddy and Mommy!  

My Mom sent a bag of mostly handmade toddler clothing from when my sister and I were kids.  It is fun remembering and looking at the pictures she sent of us wearing them.  You KNOW I'll be putting Grace in them!  But she is too small right now for most of them.  

I think she looks adorable in this sweater and bonnet set!  Unfortunately my Mom doesn't remember who made it, but it is lovely all the same.  

It has matching booties too but... There is no hope of those staying on.

Batten Down the Hatches!

I caught Grace creeping on camera!  I saw her doing it earlier this morning, so I got the camera out and got down on the floor with her, trying to recreate the moment.  I took a bunch of videos like this one trying to get her to come to mommy but failing miserably.  Even the enticing Tosca couldn't get her to do it. Since when is Grace camera shy?

So of course, after I gave up and sat on the couch for some internet time, I spied this sneaky girl making her way to the fireplace!  It wasn't mommy or Tosca that enticed her to scoot, it was a hazardous death trap!  We are so excited about this milestone.

We're in for it now I think!  I'm looking forward to my new workout routine.  It involves lots of dashing around the house.  

Baby Loaf

My sweet baby loaf.  She is not made of Tillamook Cheese, but like the cheese, she is loved by all!

Stylin in her first pair of jeans.  Good thing high waist jeans are coming back in style because she has no hips for the low riders.  Someday sweetie!

Most of the time she is on her belly like this.  She is practicing to crawl, but hasn't quite figured it out yet.

We are not fans

Yesterday we tried to get in the football spirit.  No we are not fans, but here in Rome we are surrounded by a bunch of Romans, so we're doing as they do for a day.  

We found these adorable pants to go with the onesie!

Jason thinks this outfit makes her look like a boy.  I have a hard time seeing that.  She just looks like Grace!

She is cute and has a blast in whatever she is wearing.  I wish I could say that!
